Dress Me Up {Winter}

:: I like the way anthropologie as well as other online stores allow you to hover over the a skirt or dress and see the catalog picture of it. It definitly gives you a different persepective of the outfit! And it helps out alot for people [ahem] who tend to be a bit uncreative in the fashion department (hint: starts with an M and ends with an E).



Socks & Boots

:: I saw James' awesome outfit featuring her Hunter boots and cozy gray knee socks on her blog. Now, I'm hooked. I usually go with thick tights but now boots and comfy socks are my new favorite things (legwarmers would be cool too!)

Sohomode

:: Sohomode sells the cutest vintage-style dresses and skirts. They're all handmade in Soho, NYC by Louise Hedley who uses vintage silk curtains, bed linens, tablecloths, etc. to create these pretties.

:: The Sartorialist always makes me wish I was more stylish.



Helsinki Fashion

:: So apparently people in Helsinki have quite the unique fashion sense.

These few I like, though. Especially that big yellow scarf!



Once Upon

:: Heidi Lender, a former fashion editor and reporter, left her job behind and moved to India. Pretty brave, yeh? This is her self-assigned weekly photo assignment that she has title Once Upon. The requirements are this: "Stand on a bench. Make sure it's Monday. Wear something pretty."

I think it's an awesome idea. Maybe some day when I'm feeling very creative I'll start my own photo assignment. Until then, I'll remain utterly impressed with people like Heidi Lender.

:: I've been addicted to Etsy lately. There are so many awesome shops!

Also, I never thought of wearing a scarf like that before, but it looks fabulous!

Red Velvet

:: Oh, how I wish I lived near this shop!

It's beautiful.

The ceilings are beautiful.

The decor is beautiful.

The clothes are beautiful.

But it gets even better.....

:: There's a cupcake shop inside the store!!!

I'm going overboard with the exclamation points, I know.
